Food for Every Taste in Colonial Beach
Although seafood is the star of Colonial Beach cuisine, there are a range of delicious options to enjoy. Many are now open for take-out or delivery. There are Asian restaurants including Hunan’s Diner offering Chinese cuisine and delectable sushi on Tuesday evenings. Suki Thai specializes in Thai and French cuisine, as well as sushi. Willie’s Barbecue obviously offers barbecue for sale, but also comfort food that will warm body and soul. All are currently open for take-out. American diner-style food can be found at Lenny’s, Ola’s, and Four Seasons Restaurant.
Restaurants famous for their seafood include Wilkerson’s just outside of town and one of the best sites for watching the ospreys as you dine. High Tides can found on the boardwalk overlooking the Potomac. Dockside is at the tip of the ”Point” where Monroe Bay enters the Potomac River and The Lighthouse Restaurant overlooks the bay. These two are great for catching a sunset. All of these restaurants also offer a range of cuisine besides seafood. Denson’s Farm to Table Restaurant downtown is famed throughout the Northern Neck for its oysters and other gourmet cuisine.
Residents and visitors also enjoying congregating at two town coffee houses, Julie’s and The Buzz downtown.
